Food Lust

Since discovering the world of food journals, I’ve learned about so many products I want to try! I’m not sure that all of them are available in Canada, but I will have to keep my eyes out:
  • Chobani Greek Yogurt
  • Fage Greek Yogurt
  • Mary’s Gone Crackers: I’ve seen these at the health food store but am resisting their hefty ticket price (over $5 a box) until my Kashi are gone
  • Oat Bran: This I definitely know I can get in Canada…
  • Protein powder: I’m thinking I’d like to try hemp because I’m sure I get enough whey and soy protein as it is.
  • Ezekiel bread: I really know nothing about this bread but since it’s so popular I’ve got to try it! Yes, I am easily swayed.

It's fun to dream...

  1. Hi, I love in TO as well, and have found a couple of these products. Ezekiel bread is actually in most grocery stores but it's tricky because it's in the freezer section! I know, who would have thought?? It might be in the regular freezer section, or if the store has an 'organic' section it will be in the freezer there.

I also finally!!! managed to find greek yogurt, you can get the Chobani at Pusaterri's in Yorkville, at the corner of Bay and Yorkville. I've never seen Fage anywhere, I think I read somewhere they aren't in Canada yet.

    Hope that helps!

  2. Hi Andrea!

Thanks so much for this! I've seen frozen bread in the health food section of Loblaws, but never thought to inspect it further. Will definitely check it out, same with the Chobani. Pusaterri's in Yorkville makes me think it will be pricey. Oh well, all in the name of good health, right? :)

Thanks for checking out my blog. I will check out yours and add it to my blog list!
